Annie's Beautiful SMILE :)

There is a department in the hospital here called 'Radio Bedrock'. Its a room on Level 2 with computers, games, pretty much an entertainment room. And they hold Bingo games on. Tuesday nights, and some other activity on Thursday nights.

This game was, like a image with things camoflaged in it like a tooth brush, a teepee, a pot, a spoon things like that and we had to circle all the things, and hand it into the room downstairs and @ 7.30 the first paper they draw out that is correct - wins a prize

AND WE WON YAYYYYYYYYYYYY

I was like dancing around like an idiot soooooo so happy and yeah we won Usher's Concert (an old one you know like You got it bad, confessions)

We played it and sung along had sooooo much fun ^.^

Annie's tumour in her head/spine has grown some more since her operation :( Its affecting her hearing, and her walking (she cant walk anymore my dad has to carry her around..)

The doctors have decided Annie will go through radiotherapy & chemotherapy at the same time, to stop & kill this tumour

I made Annie a small bunch of flowers from our front yard. I didn't realise that most of them have died and there were only a few left

She went back into hospital on MOnday night. She started feeling really really sick on Sunday night, and after she had her 1st radiotherapy treatment on MOnday arvo she got sick again and was throwing up alot. Even when she had nothing in her stomach she was throwing up ... i guess stomach acid?? i don't know

Shes so sad, and even the flowers didnt make her smile..

I finished reading Twilight on the weekend - what an awesome book!

The first half, was like an introduction, quite slow. But after half way.. i just couldnt put the book down

I've purchased the next one in the series, Moonlight? I think, going to let Annie read it so she can pass time.. i could just read it all day honestly

So while she's reading that ill be reading 'a million pieces', which is about a guy who's addicted to alcohol and lots of drugs. so far so good

My sister came home tonight!!!!!!!

I rang my dad at about 3 in the arvo to check up on him & Annie, and they told me the great news ohhhhhh sooo happy :)

I missed them at home soooooo so so much.

They've taken home medicine, pain meds, nausea meds, and everyday meds.

When i got home from work i quickly looked for chalk (i had JUST ENOUGH CHALK to write this)

I need to get the CHUNKY CHUNKY chalks, i was using the small chalkboard ones lol

I really wanna re-create this photo myself at home. And i think my camera can do 'sepia?' mode.

I've been so sleep deprived lately. Had a quick half an hour power nap in the hospital last night -ahh felt so good hehe. Even though i know i need to sleep - i still stayed up to read Twilight. I'm half way through, and so very tempted to buy the next 3 books that follow it - BUT i want to finish the other two books that i bought recently 'A Million Pieces' & "Anna's Story'

On the bus way near my house there is a massive vandal-graffitti of the hulk, and other beautiful markings i should go and take photos of it one day.

This is a 4-canvas painting outside Annie's ward. It's my favourite one in the hospital because it's so bright & colourful (i couldn't fit all canvases in one photo)

A few months ago i bought like 15 canvases from Lincraft because they were on sale. When Annie comes back home, i want to create something like this (but not so detailed, and not so big haha) and hang it in our home.

We did a to-do list today. A list of things we wanna do once Annie is all better.

- glebe markets
- go to a footy game
- make coloured salt jars (rememeber in primary school?? rubbing chalk into a pile of sand, and doing like 5 different colours in a jar and putting up for display)
- go to Bass Hill Drive in Movies
- canvas painting
- spring clean our rooms
- cook meals from her new recipe book she got from the hospital
- graffitti our drive way with chalk

A few other things i can't remember right now.But basically, we kept talking about the things we wanted to do together once we get outta the hospital, but knowing us we would forget all about it later on haha so writing it all down means we will never forget!

More chocolate! My aunty's Aunt & Uncle came in today to visit Annie. I think they are old & Rich because they retired and moved up to Umina (Woy Woy?)

They are so sweet & kind, brought these yummy chocolates and wished Annie all the best And lots of hugs & kisses.

I love keeping Annie company in the hospital. To be honest there is no where else i'd rather be...

Because of this tube that goes from Annie's Brain to her Stomach (the relieve any fluid pressure being built up in her head) - she wakes up feeling nauseous and throws up her breakfast as soon as she finishes eating it :( & this is suppose to stay in her body for the rest of her life ..

Tomorrow is her Stem Cell Collection - they will be running her blood through a machine that collects all her stem cells (which would be damaged if she goes through radiotherapy). It should go for 4 hours or so.

She started crying today because she was frustrated, and a bit scared aswell. She's been in the hospital for over a month now, just sitting/lying in bed all day, only getting up to go to the bathroom.

I took her for a walk down the corridor ( about a 10 mtr trip altogether) and when she got back she was so exhausted. They had to fusion blood into her body the other day because she didn't have enough blood in her system, and she was looking pale.

Poor girl, sometimes i feel like i'm not doing enough cos when she's in pain i cant do anything but hold her hand but is that enough?? I wish i could take this all way, i wish this was happening to me instead of her.

Almost everytime i come in i bring some kind of food/snack for her. And some other visitors as well, & my parents lol

After exchanging emails with Nhuy & Alicia during work about chocolate, after work i went to the shops to get myself a bar for myself.

I actually opened it before i got to the register haha such a pig >.<

About half a year ago i think, Richard turned me over to the dark side. Before that i was all about milk chocolate.

Anyway, i prefer dark chocolate because it has a) antioxidants b) less fat/sugar content c) you don't feel so bad after eating half a block of it haha

Annie made this at the hospital today - sooooooo CUTE! She's made a few things actually. Another thing was a lil puppy dog face keyring (which is hanging off my bag), and this dandly paper thingio (ah i'm SO not good at descriptions haha)

She's going in for an operation tomorrow morning to take out an ovary. So they can keep it for the future for when she wants to have babies.... if she goes through radio/chemo it will kill all her eggs

She said she's not scared! She's such a brave & strong girl..

They have moved from to a different ward. From the little childrens ward to the teenagers ward - its so noisy the kids there are so loud!! But she still has her own room so thats good :)

'The Tiger Toaster'

After seeing the ad on teevee i wanted to try it out. SLices of cheese on vegemite put under the grill - NOT AS NICE as i thought it would be. I duno about you- but i find vegemite goes so much more better with white bread. But i stopped eating whitebread a LOOOng time ago.

I checked out the other vegemite profiles, and i think i am a .. i dunno cos i havent tried all of them lol. I never thought to have vegemite on toast with philadelphia, tomato, or scrambled eggs (or dipped in a poached egg)

Actually, i prefer vegemite on vitawheat (with or without cheddar cheese slices). And also, white bread sandwich with cheese vegemite & lettuce (something i havent had in a while mm yummo)

I remember the first time i tried vegemite. I spread it on like peanut butter (nice & thick lol) and ewwwwww turned me off vegemite for like 5 yrs.

Our 2nd touch footy comp game tonight- and we rocked!! 10-1!! (we lost haha)

BUT - we looked like we knew what we were doing this time! not running around aimlessly like headless chookies.

Nhuy got player of the match- You go Gurl!

It was sooo fun - except when Alicia popped one of her blisters =| Ouch*

Anyway- cant wait for next weeks match!! There is this one guy on our team (dont ask my WHY he is even playing with us) but he hopes for rain on Mondays so the game can get cancelled. Plus after every half he looks like he's going to have a heart/asthma attack, i think his a smoker ?? lol

Afterwards we headed back to Nhuy's for a lil catch up & choccie eating hehe. Her overseas friend Samuel sent over like 20 bars of swiss chocolates!! Thanks for sharing babe (only after i invited myself over to eat them heehee)

We also swapped late birthday gifts - this natio care pack rocks - my legs are in dying need of some moisture they are sooo dry i have NOT moistured them since the beginning of winter

Hey are the Olympics only on for 16 days? Thats really short.

We did it !!!!!!!!

Jeremy slept in and picked us up late.

Richard left his timing chip & bib at home.

Trust the guys to be late & forgetful!!!!!!!!

it was FREEZING in the morning. But once we started running, off went our gear hehe

Me & Richard ran ahead while Jeremy & Anita lagged behind.

Throughout the race i experienced pain in my left thigh, my right thigh, both ankles, my toe, far out lol.

We made it in an hour 50 minutes - i'm determined to beat this time next year! Or the next time we attempt it hehe

After the race, it friggin rained!! & it was even more freezing >.<

It was a great day - i loved it !!

I Chose this photo because there's just so much pink in it - and how the sunlight shows the shades & lights.

I came in to hang out with Annie today, her friend Judy made these for her.

Annie was really tired and weak today she just stayed in bed all day. On television there was 'Sliding Doors' the movie with Gweneth Paltrow (i've spelt it wrong havent i hehe)

Then we watched, 'P.S i love you' Such a sweet & sad movie its about a girl who's husband dies of some cancer, but while he was alive he managed to organise letters and holidays & gifts & surprises to be sent to her from him even though he was gone.

At night i met up with city2surf peoples for dinner @ Bellissimo - yummy pizza & pasta, a quick catch up then went home to sleep early for D-Day ^.^

Um- Yeah that guy looks like he's gonna get squashed under the reel.

That blue thing- weights 14,000kg (14 tonnes)

& we sold it for $50,000 - making a profit of $15,000 on it. I cant imagine how much the guy is gonna sell it to his customer for, he'll probably make triple the profit that we did

Oh yeah- we sold two of them ^.^

I had to come in at 8am today, cos we were expecting 2 containers, two trucks & a crane coming in.

Yay for the weekend - city2surf on Sunday Yippee~

Annie had two more operations on her head today :( One she was under drugs & asleep, but the 2nd one they had to do when she was awake and she was like screaming & crying we werent allowed to be in there me & my mom was crying it hurts to hear her in so much pain and we cant do anything about it..

Her spinal fluid was building up again and giving her really bad headaches, they had to shove a tube in her head so that fluid can flow out into a machine instead of building up pressure in her head.

Tomorow she's getting another operation to make that tube go down into her stomach, apparently it is okay, the fluid just needs to go somewhere..

After the pain, the headache went away. Annie got bandaged up and we were all able to go in & see her. She's got like 2 shaved spots on her head now :|

My uncle & aunty, have come to see Annie almost everyday of the week since she's been in here they are so caring & loving.

Woke up this morning to clouds & sprinkles :| This is a picture taken from my office looking out to the main road. It's ALWAYS busy with cars & trucks all day.

Luckily it rained overnight, and NOT last night while i was out for my run.

Me, Richard, William & Jeremy met up for a jog around our area. I'm thinking we did 6-7km, we were running for about 40 minutes. This is like one of my last chacnes to run long distance before City2Surf on Sunday.

I can run for long in the PM. AM running is hard for me i dunno why but it just is

Was at the hospital visiting Annie tonight, & found this book in the play tray - it's sooooo cute!

It had like... 50-60 pages. About half way through it got boring. Too repetitive eheh

There is this baby next door that won't stop crying :(

And the other night, around 2 or 3 in the morning it was crying & hiccupping at the same time the poor thing it went on for like 10 minutes

How frustrating. Trying to cry but a hiccup stops you

Touch footy comp started today- & will be on every Mondays. Our team name is called Obscure i think? & our colour is green (thanks Alicia for the greentop!) i need to go find my own green singlet hehe..

I never thought i'd ever play it cos i was never into any of that kind of sport ever. Never watched it never thought about or anything.

10 people on our team half chics half boys, 6 on the field at a time, 2 referees.

2 halves about... 15-20 minutes each i think it was. It wasn't bad! Confusing @ first, and lots of sprinting.

We lost so badly... lol i think it was like 5-1

Thanks Duy for the tips aswell, there was like 10 other tips given by the others so confusing >.<

Anyway the boys told us our homework is to watch the touch footy games on Friday nights there's one at 7.30 & another at 10.30

Us girls me Nhuy & Alicia are aiming for some hot bodz by the time summer comes around :P

After the game i suggested a 20 minute run & invited Jeremy along. 6 more sleeps till the city 2 surf!! yippee!!

My sisters staples came out today - & her braces!!

She is improving heaps everyday. Able to walk around without anyones help.

Her teeth are really straight & white - whiter then when i had my braces taken off lol

Anyway, i'm pretty sure she doesnt mind me putting up pictures of her ... :]

Tonight after work, i went to pick up Annie's Friend Lucy & Duy. (I've added Duy's blog link over to the right :]

We got her some asian food- friend rice, chicken soup, and sweet & sour fish. Then over to wollies and got Yakult, soy chicken flavoured red rock chips, LCM's, natural confectionary snakes, and i think thats it lol.

Annie was really happy to see her friends, Plus Duy is a real crack up lol it was like giggles galore

This guys got skills- he can kick his head with his foot- lol

Duy- can you record it & youtube it so i can show everyone!?!
