Spent the day relaxing today, mucking around with my camera at home. Watched some movies with Annie. Oh , an early trip to IKEA with Ann to purchase some storage items - i got some things for myself too. Hoping it will clear some more room for me... my room is tiny Rick suggested moving some things around like my bed & wardrobe.. ah.. it'll be a massive job!

He cooked me some onion soup tonight (and forgot to add the cheese and croutons.. but it was still nice). We had it with bread and cheese, quite a filling meal.

Headed out to the city to meet friends for coffee and cake @ Lindt (they were closed!!) so ended up at Blackbirds.. they were crap. Dont think i want to go try their lunch menu out i've been there for breakfast, dinner and desert and all time were epic fail.

I had too many photo's to choose from today! Finally decided on this one..

Early morning a big group of us went bike riding (Ann i'm so glad you finally got one!!!!!!!!!!!!!) We rode around the area, had sooo much fun - i love my new biking group!!!

Im planning to ride atleast once on the weekends in the mornings i LOVE to work out first thing in the morning it just keeps you fresh & energised for the rest of the day. And, going for a run at the end of a fun weekend makes me feel less guilty on all the bad foods i ate hehe.

Tonight met up with the girls for some Japanese food @ Juju's in Kingscross - yummy food which was really cheap too worked out to be $20 per person!! I love da place because you get your own little booth to yourselves, its reeally intimate and cosey hehe.

The night ended early after a short trip to the clubs, some nasty wet pussys, sipping on jager bombs, & laughing at Navymen & Housemaids (Candy's, played the BEST INDIE music, makes me wanna go home and just listen to Bloc party all night)

Had a movie night with Danny & Tash tonight - Nightmare on Elm street movie mara. We only made it to part 3, and went home after that (it was past 1am, was crazy tired).

I wasnt as scared as i thought i'd be, Rick's arm was still intact and his hearing was fine, haha :)

We had pizza & cake, Danny had time after work to clean up the house AND bake a cake - impressive!!

Went to Glebe for dinner tonight at badde Manors, complete vegetarian/vegan food. Recently i've cut out seafood in my diet - i feel bad for eating them. I don't know how i'll survive, i should be okay..

BAdde Manors - makes the BEST pot of chai tea its so spicey and not too milky. My workmates wife will be getting me a box of chai tea leaves soon - yay!

AFter dinner, walked over to Gleebooks - and purchased 'Q and A', this is where the movie 'Slumdog Millionaire' came from. Chris reccomended it, i'll jus add it to the pile of books i already have left waiting to be read :x

Received a package from Mel today - Thanks for the funky new music!!! Time to bop ^.^

Also got sum stickers i ordered off ebay - my sticker collection is steadily growing i'll need to find a nice box soon (or make my own??)

It rained tonight so no footy - damn. That's two weeks in a row of no game!!

I'm struggling on the last new weeks of this project. I'm really just pulling shit out of my ass and only blogging once a week - really cant remember what was on my mind yesterday let alone 8 days ago!!!!

Dinner tonight at Pony (place recommended by Ann)

The food was great - i was extremely happy with my vegetarian meal (pan fried gnocci with vegetables), everyone else thought the food was great, we stayed back for desert aswell, it was a fun night!!

We planned our camping trip in June (long weekend, Queens Birthday), talked about our trip to NZ at the end of the year, and Japan next year!!

New Zealand will be my first trip away with friends & Rick, so i can't wait!!

I think babe looked really cute tonight he teamed a nice shirt with jeans and a businessey looking jacket - and he did his hair really nicely too <3

We went to see - SNEAKY SOUND SYSTEM tonight!! Ann, Jenny & Myself, @ the coogee bay hotel, had a great night!! Despite waiting 3 hrs for them to come out, and putting up with crappy Dj's (who were hot, and probably gay), when they finally came out on stage it was SOOO WORTH IT!!

We met these gals at the front, we did favors for each other, holding our spots if anyone needed to go get drinks, or go to the bathroom!! haha :)

Took a day off work today (i have 35 days of leave accumulated over 2.5yrs of working here)

Woke up early made brekafast for Julie when she came over, then went for a bike ride , to run some of my errands haha! :)

a) buy some postage stamps
b) post some letters
c) drop off mail at Nishan's house
d) drop off some negatives for reprints
e) drop off mail at Hieu's house
f) back to pick up photo's

& finally, a rest at St JOhns Park corner shops for some yummy hot chips.

Julie loves her new bike, its purple & had gears (you need gears, ahem* jeremy!!)

Spent the rest of the day catching up on some little tasks (various post it notes stuck on my computer). They just keep coming & coming, my phone had a bunch of reminders, my diary has like 6 to-do lists, and my mac is covered in pink blue yellow & white post it notes. Oh and dont forget the post it notes program on my imac >.<

If only there was an extra day in the week (whether it was a weekend or weekday, preferably weekend!!)...

Headed up to the city to meet Rick Ann Jeremy & Jane (Freshcakes) for some Mexican @ Baja Cantina. I ate a massively hot jalopeno pepper which made me go as red as a tomato!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! & the alcohol fuelled asian flush didnt help either.

Walked over next door for desert @ Sanchurros - they are seriously overrated!! But still nice, although Ann says the churros were undercooked?? I found the brownies abit dry (i wanna try the betty crocker brownie in a cup thingio), the truffles werent bad, i LOVEd dipping my churro into the dulce de caramel thingio - decadent!!

& i liked Rick's spanish latte, had a fair amount of condensed milk at the bottom - i love having condensed milk in my coffee :)

I was in a baking mood tonight so used up my "rowie's gluten free cake mix" but added a twist (thus making them no longer gluten free). I bought these mixes MONTHS ago and never got around to trying them out.

Rick & I chopped up a handful of ferrero rochers & added them to the batter. The batter already had a cinnamon taste to it (damn, i should have stuck to the carrot idea) but they turned out pretty nice!!!!!

Texted Ants, Ann & Jeremy asking if Rick could drop some cupcakes off later, and not long after Ann & Jeremy both turned up at my doorstep asking "wheres the cupcakes!!"

Ants was lazy. She texted "yes, im home now!" LOLS  =P

Last day of our easterlong weekend. WHat did i do today... bludged around at home doing - not very much! Watched 'Journey to the centre of the earth' & 'sisterhood of travelling pants' with Annie. It finally rained today (i hate the weather forecast!!!)

How much chocolate did you consume this weekend? I lost count =/

Julie invited us over for dinner tonight we had pasta (with lots of parmesan cheese for me!!)

We had plans to go bush walking today but everywhere was forecasted to rain. Ended up not raining at all, WE COULD OF WENT!

Ended up bumming at Ann's place with some wine, cheese, crackers, chocolates, carrots & dip, watching 'wanted' starring Angelina Jolie.

A Fun day nonetheless :)

Met up with Danny & Tash for a dinner & movie - watched 'race to witch mountain' i love watching fantasy type movies, where there's magic & out of this world happenings.

Danny made me & Rick real easter eggs - so sweet of him!!!

The 7 of us did the coogee to bondi walk today (and then bondi back to coogee). The first half took us 1 hr 45 minutes (since me & Sam were taking photo's and video recording hehe). 2nd half took an hour and a half only, the weather seemed to hold up for us (it was forecasted to rain)

I slept REALLYY well that night, i was sleeping by around 9pm haha :) I think most of the group clonked out early, except Jeremy the party animal was out till late in the city!!

Had pizza & wii night @ Julie's house tonight - fun fun fun!!! As you can see here i was getting very physical (Rick kept beating everyone in tennis grrr). Ann, Jack & Sam were there too, we stayed up playing 'singstar' i got home at like 12.30AM - was sooo tired!!

i want a wii now lols. its soooo much fun!!

Earlier today me Rick & Ann did a run at iron cove, then then had some brunch. A nice relaxing public holiday, a great start to the extra long weekend ahead of us :)

Saw a beautiful sunset today so drove around to the highest point in my area to take this photo. Last day of work this week, we have a long weekend :)

Good thing about daylight savings is coming home without GLARE in your eyes, and seeing beautiful sunset colors in the sky.

i decided to go for a run this morning before meeting up with LJ girls for brunch! Ann decided to join me too despite her lack of sleep that night + early hours but aww so glad you came :) Her workmate Nat joined us too, we started out & it was cloudy, it got sunny as the run progressed, damnit i didnt wear sunscreen!! We did it in about an hour 5 minutes (we walked a few times to let Nat catch up with us).

Then off to Blackbirds cafe for brunch with Ants Leona & Lis (review here). Despite Lis coming half an hour late, she managed to get her breakfast first !! Oh by the way it was daylight savings today we had to pull back our clocks an hour (yay for extra sleep, nay for shorter days)

Lis is off to U.S.A next week, so this is our last catch up before she goes. Lis – all da best on your trip, have a blast, don’t forget to send us postcards :):)

Headed home for a couple of hours before going to Jeremy’s house party. We had KFC, Pizza Hut (Siu ly brang habibs garlic sauce!! its is SOOOOO good on pizza!!), we played the board game ‘TABOO’ which was so fun i coudlnt help but play for both teams haha :)

Then Rick & Jeremy disappeared for a while (hee hee) & came back with desert! Jeremy’s own creation. Banana cheese cake, Vanilla icecream with magic top, over a layer of crunchy nut (jap styles). & the rest of the night was spent watching So you think you can dance & listening to Ann talk about twitter =P

Had a busy day today :)

Started with an hour kickboxing, an hour free weights, then off to meet Rick & Chris for lunch at the Bavarian Bier cafe. Catchin up, since he just recently got back from Africa (he spent 6 weeks there, got a pretty nice tan for a pale white aussie guy haha), and also a late mini celebration for his birthday.

Off to watch 'watchmen' at gold class parramatta after - this movie was awesome i didnt think i'd like it i just tagged along with the boys - but i found it really interesting.. makes me wanna go & get da comics!!

Headed off to WAQU at crows nest for dinner, a 5 meal degustation was awaiting us :)

Its daylight savings, so at midnight we pull da clocks back an hour - we get an hour extra sleep yay! Now the days are shorter (sun comes up earlier, comes down earlier aswell, plus cold weather is coming in a couple of months) It will be extra hard to get to the gym in the mornings !!!

My parents went out tonight, so i invited Rick, Juls & Sam over, for some instant noodles, and to watch 'the curious case of benjamin button', and also we all kept Annie company :)

Had Evelyn's Birthday in the city tonight @ Hurricanes. We were seated on the other side of the long bunch of tables very far from her, with a bunch of people we've never met before!! But we've made friends with a really nice Couple, Irene and her boyfriend (fergot his name!). She had really cute curly hair (naturally curly hair on an asian is rare!!), while she was wanting straight hair like me, and i was wanting curls like her hehe

I had some creamy mussel soup, with garlic bread, Rick had some kind of steak. We left early since it was a weeknight, picked up Ann on the way so she didn't have to catch a train on her own (^.~)

So went past the tuck shop up the road & bought a turkish bread toasted sandwich with tuna, lettuce, tomato & cheese - it was delicious!!

Took out my faber castells & started making some bday cards.

Ended the day with a run around iron cove with Ann, Chez, Rick & Jeremy, then a dinner to spoil all our hard work :)

It was Ann's first time running the 7km long course, she did so well :):)
