Some flowers in our front yard.
My mom asked me if i had seen them since they were there all week (sadly, if she hadnt mentioned it i wouldn't of seen it, my week has been so stressful and busy). She said they only last for about a week then they die.
It brings to mind the quote of stopping to smell the flowers every once in a while, to put your hectic schedule aside and to notice the things around you instead of rushing here & there all the time.

my mum always had these in our garden too. i think they are called 'day lillies'??
