Meet Joanne! She comes in twice a month to clean our office. She is the nicest lady i know we always have little chats whenever she comes in.
Today she came in with a fundraiser box of caramello koala chocolates yummy! I bought a mint one for Richard, & two caramel ones for me & my sister.
She also told me that the latest pot drug bust @ St Mary's - happened two houses away from her!! She said that her neighbour had sold the house to an old asian couple. They moved in, started renovating heaps, (they installed inter cooling in the house, so that nothing could be smelt from outside, they got someone to illegally place the power lines away from the street pole and into their house so that the amount of electricty being used wouldn't show up on government meters).
A year later a younger asian couple moved in after all the renovations, and there was no furniture no nothing came in or out of the house. Neighbours had their suspicions and dobbed the house into the cops, from there a whole year & a half of heavy surveillancing of the house, to finally raid them yesterday afternoon!
Joanne said that it smelt so bad when they took all the plants and placed them on the front lawn, and there were like huge trucks coming to take them all away. This is crazy happening two houses away from your home!!

Officers found 900 cannabis plants and hydroponic equipment in this morning's raids on five homes in St Marys, Oxley Park and Colyton this morning.
A man and woman were arrested at a house on the Great Western Highway in Oxley Park and a toddler was removed from their care.
Two men were also arrested at the St Marys homes.
All four are being questioned by police.
It is the third day of raids in the area in less than a week, as police target hydroponic cannabis labs in homes as part of Operation Yalumba.
The operation started when a tip-off led police to a $1.5 million cannabis seizure at St Marys on Saturday and to $500,000 in a house yesterday.
Police will remain at the houses today to dismantle the drug labs.

oh my, that's really really strange. I wonder if they installed something that stopped the smells from getting out, would that have stopped them being raided?
