Had a quiet night in, with a bottle of wine, some CRUST pizza, & concert DVD's of Justin Timberlake, USHER, & No Doubt

Me & Annie singing out hearts out (Rick went home early, Ann fell asleep & forgot to come over!!)

I fell asleep with the music still up really loud hehe.. long day - work tomolooo :(

It's great to be with the whole family, except for Linda who likes to spend her time on the laptop/mobile/away from us. I wish she would spend more time with us, its not often that we get together like this - we'll be here at the Bear Cottage all weekend .. A birthday gift from Westmead's childrens hospital :)

This place is so cool there are game consoles, snacks, really nice nurses, we're close to the beach, heaps of toys, activities, things to keep us all busy. I'm heading back home on Sunday night so gonna make the most of this weekend!

Headed to the gym after work today. Was abit iffy about my ankle injury... It was fine to walk on - but i was itching to do some running..

Warmed up on the rower, the bike, then eased into running - my ankle is fine YAY i was able to run i didnt want to over do it so stopped at 20 mins & cooled down & left.

Spent the rest of the afternoon working on Birthday Invites, then went to dinner with some friends :)

Woke up & my limbs were aching the worst pain possible – my weights sessions last night killed me. After not having done any weights training for over a month, maybe i should of taken it easier with light weights but i went into the same weights that i used the last time i did the class.. killer.

Another half day – came home, made some lunch, then spent the rest of the afternoon playing scrabble with Annie J No scoring, just straight playing. I want to play more games with her, just to keep her brain stimulated, i’m suggesting books for her to read (she’s not a big fan of reading, but i really want her to just keep her mind busy, let herself get carried away into a book, so her days aren’t dragged too long)

She has school on Monday, Wed & Fridays from 1-3pm - & other days she stays at home. I might go rent some movies this week – i love watching movies from the last decade – they are so much better then the ones that are coming out these days at the movies. Ah- my gf Wensy gave me some vouchers to use, one of them is $9.50 Dendy movie tix – baby lets go!!

Phew!!

We played an undefeated team tonight @ touch, & we lost by ONE point! We did well considering their ranking in the comp - i fell, did a 360 roll, & rolled my ankle - ouch! I was aided off the field .. so bad !! I was sprinting for a touch, when the guy did a direction change & bam we collided & a tripped on his foot.

Ann had come only minutes before (she was late, was only going to spectate), so we swapped clothes & she took my place - luckily - because we would have been down a player..

Thanks Trang for the vegetarian Lasagne!!!!! It was yummy - it was really thoughtful of you girlfriend :)

Was up at 2am to help Rick & his bro push a car from Regents Park station to home (approx. 2kms). 4 uphills, 5 guys & a steerer (thats me!haha).

Got back for 2 hours of sleep & then was up again for a run around iron cove, then breakkie @ Glebe :)

Spent the rest of the day watching the Hills (so addictive, never ever thought i'd be into these types of shows) Rick thinks its stupid & pointless.. HEY! I don't give you crap about your anime babe =P

Oh, i bought flowers for mom! & set up these photocards in her room. Polaroids of every family member, all in a row. A reminder that we all love her dearly & will always be around.

My net was capped a week ago, it sucks to have extra slow net !! I can't upload any photo's to flickr, i am blogging at home & uploading at work - this sux & i don't get my normal speed back until the 15th booo :(

I start my OTEN Fitness course tomorrow, how will i get online this week ??? My boss has offered me half days on MOn, Tues & Wed so yay :) Yay to gymming after work, & more time to study.

Went for an early morning bike ride with Rick, Ann, Jeremy & Ants this morning, we rode for about 2 hours in total, our ears almost froze up, i lost one of my 18 breadrolls (it bounced out of my basket) & Jeremy fell of his bike (i think that will bruise..!!)

Got back real early, to help out with Annies Birthday Party !! All her school friends came, plus a few other people, some of my friends, it was a full house!

WHile the kiddies stayed out in the living room playing Singstar (thank you Julie & Sam for lending your PS2&3 tonight!!), us grown ups played monopoly hehe. Julie was the first to get out of the game, i followed shortly, Ann Sam & Rick ended up playing for about 3 hours in
total - Rick won booooo he always wins!!

When i play games, i play for the fun of it i don't play competitively, at all, which is why sometimes its so frustrating playing things with Rick :( He just wants to win & take all your
money..

Another week gone by, weekend has started :)

I had plans to drive up to Marrickville with Rick to get a Birthday cake for Annie - but change of plans - Rick went on his own instead.

I stayed home with Annie, watched television, Friday night movie was -The Terminal - featuring TOm Hanks. A Man stuck in the U.S airport terminal because his country's government had been suspended due to a political coue. Thus making his visa suspended, until his country was reclassified & a new visa would be made. He was stuck in the terminal for 9 mths !! The movie was alright, i was only watching it because nothing else was on (except da footy, but Annie thinks tv Sports is boring hehe..)

It was a full moon so i shot this after dinner - the moon lit up the streets, its amazing how dark it is when the full is only a crescent. I remember when i went for a bondi sunrise shoot - i saw both the Sun & the moon at the same time

Got my Fuji Instax WIde film in the post today - rushed home to try out Mr Fuji - he works! Me likey!! The film is so much cheaper then Polaroid film (i can get 10 shots for $10 instead of 10 shots for $30). Although the camera is really massively heavy & ugly.. haha

We were short one gal tonight @ TOuch - it was just me & Jody rollin with 3 boys + subs. & we won!! 11 - 4 - we smashed em :) I dove for an opponent, ended up rolling 360 degrees and getting grass burns on my elbow & knees - but it was fun! I really gotta practise my diving.

Watched Wolverine in gold class tonight with Julie & Sam (they were gold class first timers hehe). The movie is AWESOME i highly recommend i!t!! I want to download x-men 1, 2 & 3 now - i really forgot what happened in them.

Had to walk through westfields from the carpark to the movie complex, and saw these tags hanging from the ceiling - looked so cool! Annie would totally love this ! (shes a brand type of gal she's got tags stuck on her wall & stuff)

Got together with the gang minus Julie for some bike riding. Did a course to: Fairfield City Farm, To the T-way, To the markets for some food, then back home all up about 2 hours - fun fun fun! Fairfield City Farm has a really nice bike track, with massive hills (fun going down but a bitch to get up haha)

Anita the first timer - you did well babes!! Ann took a nasty tumble down some dirt & sticks, ended up with some majorly ugly bruising :(

LOVED biking with everyone, hoping to make this a weekly thing!! Alongside running aswell. Trying to keep as active as i can on weekends to balance out all the eating i do - i just let go so badly on weekends i really cant help myself weekends is for having fun and relaxing and eating yummy foods :)

Took a day off today, headed to the gym for some running. Very unmotivating running indoors, but i didn't want to run in the sun..

Took Annie out today for a movie & shopping :) We watched 17 Again, SUCH a good movie i LOVEd it~ Zac Effron is a cutie!! Annie had a blast we pigged out on popcorn and doritos, it was just us sisters my parents were running errands. We all got together after for some shopping afterwards.. and got Annie some new clothes for school, pj's, & bits & pieces pretty much anything she wants because she deserves it!

Headed to the comedy store tonight to see Tony Woods - go youtube this guy he is pretty funny!!

Ended the night with some nibbles at the Four Seasons Hotel - definitely coming back here again for Dinner!! The place is beautiful, classy, they play really nice live piano music, and the service is excellent too - thanks Ann!! :)

Went out to dinner with Rick tonight, he found a restaurant in Rozelle called Harvest that serves vegetarian only food. It was pretty much in the middle of nowhere, the only restaurant on a whole street of apartments/flats. Its a small place, i think only two people were running the restaurant tonight, but there was just us, another couple, and a group of 4, not too busy. My camera battery died (just my luck) so no piccies or food review, we'll just have to come back again :)

mom bought a bunch of avocados, so i made some toast & eggs, spread the avo onto my toast, sprinkled with cracked pepper & lime juice - yummy!! Similar to what we had at the Cove (http://bettysbites.blogspot.com/2009/04/cove.html) but not as nice (i need sum sour dough bread hehe). I'm really trying to eat more smaller meals during the day thats the only thing that works in trying to lose weight because i notice if i eat larger meals throughout the day my metabolism goes down. So this week i'm going to buy some yogurt, fruits, vegies, cutting out on sugar/processed foods/oils as much as i can.

My shoe broke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im so not lookin forward to spending money on another pair :( & i really have to cos city2surf is coming up in August - i wanna wear my new shoes in before doing the run so i dont get blisters or anything. Might get a pair of asics even though they're exxy but they last & are designed for runners.

I think i spent more money of gym gear & clothes than i do with going out clothes - i'm sooo much more comfy in my sport shorts & singlet (i gained weight, can't fit into my skinny jeans no more noooo).. been wearing skirts & stuff, loose clothing, and with winter coming up its gonna be even more harder to lose the weight >.<

Spent the day relaxing today, mucking around with my camera at home. Watched some movies with Annie. Oh , an early trip to IKEA with Ann to purchase some storage items - i got some things for myself too. Hoping it will clear some more room for me... my room is tiny Rick suggested moving some things around like my bed & wardrobe.. ah.. it'll be a massive job!

He cooked me some onion soup tonight (and forgot to add the cheese and croutons.. but it was still nice). We had it with bread and cheese, quite a filling meal.

Headed out to the city to meet friends for coffee and cake @ Lindt (they were closed!!) so ended up at Blackbirds.. they were crap. Dont think i want to go try their lunch menu out i've been there for breakfast, dinner and desert and all time were epic fail.

I had too many photo's to choose from today! Finally decided on this one..

Early morning a big group of us went bike riding (Ann i'm so glad you finally got one!!!!!!!!!!!!!) We rode around the area, had sooo much fun - i love my new biking group!!!

Im planning to ride atleast once on the weekends in the mornings i LOVE to work out first thing in the morning it just keeps you fresh & energised for the rest of the day. And, going for a run at the end of a fun weekend makes me feel less guilty on all the bad foods i ate hehe.

Tonight met up with the girls for some Japanese food @ Juju's in Kingscross - yummy food which was really cheap too worked out to be $20 per person!! I love da place because you get your own little booth to yourselves, its reeally intimate and cosey hehe.

The night ended early after a short trip to the clubs, some nasty wet pussys, sipping on jager bombs, & laughing at Navymen & Housemaids (Candy's, played the BEST INDIE music, makes me wanna go home and just listen to Bloc party all night)

Had a movie night with Danny & Tash tonight - Nightmare on Elm street movie mara. We only made it to part 3, and went home after that (it was past 1am, was crazy tired).

I wasnt as scared as i thought i'd be, Rick's arm was still intact and his hearing was fine, haha :)

We had pizza & cake, Danny had time after work to clean up the house AND bake a cake - impressive!!

Went to Glebe for dinner tonight at badde Manors, complete vegetarian/vegan food. Recently i've cut out seafood in my diet - i feel bad for eating them. I don't know how i'll survive, i should be okay..

BAdde Manors - makes the BEST pot of chai tea its so spicey and not too milky. My workmates wife will be getting me a box of chai tea leaves soon - yay!

AFter dinner, walked over to Gleebooks - and purchased 'Q and A', this is where the movie 'Slumdog Millionaire' came from. Chris reccomended it, i'll jus add it to the pile of books i already have left waiting to be read :x

Dinner tonight at Pony (place recommended by Ann)

The food was great - i was extremely happy with my vegetarian meal (pan fried gnocci with vegetables), everyone else thought the food was great, we stayed back for desert aswell, it was a fun night!!

We planned our camping trip in June (long weekend, Queens Birthday), talked about our trip to NZ at the end of the year, and Japan next year!!

New Zealand will be my first trip away with friends & Rick, so i can't wait!!

I think babe looked really cute tonight he teamed a nice shirt with jeans and a businessey looking jacket - and he did his hair really nicely too <3

We went to see - SNEAKY SOUND SYSTEM tonight!! Ann, Jenny & Myself, @ the coogee bay hotel, had a great night!! Despite waiting 3 hrs for them to come out, and putting up with crappy Dj's (who were hot, and probably gay), when they finally came out on stage it was SOOO WORTH IT!!

We met these gals at the front, we did favors for each other, holding our spots if anyone needed to go get drinks, or go to the bathroom!! haha :)

Took a day off work today (i have 35 days of leave accumulated over 2.5yrs of working here)

Woke up early made brekafast for Julie when she came over, then went for a bike ride , to run some of my errands haha! :)

a) buy some postage stamps
b) post some letters
c) drop off mail at Nishan's house
d) drop off some negatives for reprints
e) drop off mail at Hieu's house
f) back to pick up photo's

& finally, a rest at St JOhns Park corner shops for some yummy hot chips.

Julie loves her new bike, its purple & had gears (you need gears, ahem* jeremy!!)

Spent the rest of the day catching up on some little tasks (various post it notes stuck on my computer). They just keep coming & coming, my phone had a bunch of reminders, my diary has like 6 to-do lists, and my mac is covered in pink blue yellow & white post it notes. Oh and dont forget the post it notes program on my imac >.<

If only there was an extra day in the week (whether it was a weekend or weekday, preferably weekend!!)...

Headed up to the city to meet Rick Ann Jeremy & Jane (Freshcakes) for some Mexican @ Baja Cantina. I ate a massively hot jalopeno pepper which made me go as red as a tomato!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! & the alcohol fuelled asian flush didnt help either.

Walked over next door for desert @ Sanchurros - they are seriously overrated!! But still nice, although Ann says the churros were undercooked?? I found the brownies abit dry (i wanna try the betty crocker brownie in a cup thingio), the truffles werent bad, i LOVEd dipping my churro into the dulce de caramel thingio - decadent!!

& i liked Rick's spanish latte, had a fair amount of condensed milk at the bottom - i love having condensed milk in my coffee :)

I was in a baking mood tonight so used up my "rowie's gluten free cake mix" but added a twist (thus making them no longer gluten free). I bought these mixes MONTHS ago and never got around to trying them out.

Rick & I chopped up a handful of ferrero rochers & added them to the batter. The batter already had a cinnamon taste to it (damn, i should have stuck to the carrot idea) but they turned out pretty nice!!!!!

Texted Ants, Ann & Jeremy asking if Rick could drop some cupcakes off later, and not long after Ann & Jeremy both turned up at my doorstep asking "wheres the cupcakes!!"

Ants was lazy. She texted "yes, im home now!" LOLS =P

We had plans to go bush walking today but everywhere was forecasted to rain. Ended up not raining at all, WE COULD OF WENT!

Ended up bumming at Ann's place with some wine, cheese, crackers, chocolates, carrots & dip, watching 'wanted' starring Angelina Jolie.

A Fun day nonetheless :)

Met up with Danny & Tash for a dinner & movie - watched 'race to witch mountain' i love watching fantasy type movies, where there's magic & out of this world happenings.

Danny made me & Rick real easter eggs - so sweet of him!!!

The 7 of us did the coogee to bondi walk today (and then bondi back to coogee). The first half took us 1 hr 45 minutes (since me & Sam were taking photo's and video recording hehe). 2nd half took an hour and a half only, the weather seemed to hold up for us (it was forecasted to rain)

I slept REALLYY well that night, i was sleeping by around 9pm haha :) I think most of the group clonked out early, except Jeremy the party animal was out till late in the city!!

Had pizza & wii night @ Julie's house tonight - fun fun fun!!! As you can see here i was getting very physical (Rick kept beating everyone in tennis grrr). Ann, Jack & Sam were there too, we stayed up playing 'singstar' i got home at like 12.30AM - was sooo tired!!

i want a wii now lols. its soooo much fun!!

Earlier today me Rick & Ann did a run at iron cove, then then had some brunch. A nice relaxing public holiday, a great start to the extra long weekend ahead of us :)

Saw a beautiful sunset today so drove around to the highest point in my area to take this photo. Last day of work this week, we have a long weekend :)

Good thing about daylight savings is coming home without GLARE in your eyes, and seeing beautiful sunset colors in the sky.

i decided to go for a run this morning before meeting up with LJ girls for brunch! Ann decided to join me too despite her lack of sleep that night + early hours but aww so glad you came :) Her workmate Nat joined us too, we started out & it was cloudy, it got sunny as the run progressed, damnit i didnt wear sunscreen!! We did it in about an hour 5 minutes (we walked a few times to let Nat catch up with us).

Then off to Blackbirds cafe for brunch with Ants Leona & Lis (review here). Despite Lis coming half an hour late, she managed to get her breakfast first !! Oh by the way it was daylight savings today we had to pull back our clocks an hour (yay for extra sleep, nay for shorter days)

Lis is off to U.S.A next week, so this is our last catch up before she goes. Lis – all da best on your trip, have a blast, don’t forget to send us postcards :):)

Headed home for a couple of hours before going to Jeremy’s house party. We had KFC, Pizza Hut (Siu ly brang habibs garlic sauce!! its is SOOOOO good on pizza!!), we played the board game ‘TABOO’ which was so fun i coudlnt help but play for both teams haha :)

Then Rick & Jeremy disappeared for a while (hee hee) & came back with desert! Jeremy’s own creation. Banana cheese cake, Vanilla icecream with magic top, over a layer of crunchy nut (jap styles). & the rest of the night was spent watching So you think you can dance & listening to Ann talk about twitter =P

Had a busy day today :)

Started with an hour kickboxing, an hour free weights, then off to meet Rick & Chris for lunch at the Bavarian Bier cafe. Catchin up, since he just recently got back from Africa (he spent 6 weeks there, got a pretty nice tan for a pale white aussie guy haha), and also a late mini celebration for his birthday.

Off to watch 'watchmen' at gold class parramatta after - this movie was awesome i didnt think i'd like it i just tagged along with the boys - but i found it really interesting.. makes me wanna go & get da comics!!

Headed off to WAQU at crows nest for dinner, a 5 meal degustation was awaiting us :)

Its daylight savings, so at midnight we pull da clocks back an hour - we get an hour extra sleep yay! Now the days are shorter (sun comes up earlier, comes down earlier aswell, plus cold weather is coming in a couple of months) It will be extra hard to get to the gym in the mornings !!!

Had Evelyn's Birthday in the city tonight @ Hurricanes. We were seated on the other side of the long bunch of tables very far from her, with a bunch of people we've never met before!! But we've made friends with a really nice Couple, Irene and her boyfriend (fergot his name!). She had really cute curly hair (naturally curly hair on an asian is rare!!), while she was wanting straight hair like me, and i was wanting curls like her hehe

I had some creamy mussel soup, with garlic bread, Rick had some kind of steak. We left early since it was a weeknight, picked up Ann on the way so she didn't have to catch a train on her own (^.~)

Hit up city markets with Ann today. First had Breakfast @ Badde Manor in Glebe. We had yummy chai tea with some vegetarian style breakfasts (definately coming back here, review will be up soon)

Browsed Glebe Markets. We both bought the same skirts (long flowy black gypsie style skirts), i bought two neclaced chained mini clocks (the types that nurses have in hospitals). Ann changed into her new skirt as it was getting too hot in her jeans (we both gotta makes sure we never go out with the same skirt now hee hee)

Headed over to Paddington & browsed the markets there, plus oxford street stores, and the FRINGE bar markets which is a bar, that has stalls in them its so cool cos the place is air-conditioned and under cover. Ann bought a funky head band which was handmade with feathers and material and little jewels it was quite pretty.

i LOVE browsing markets for art, jewelry, unique styles of clothing, vintage & oldschool stuff. Had soo much fun today :):)

Headed home to babysit Annie while my parents went out. Had Sam & Juls come over for some tea & cake (seriously the two cakes were mega huge). We all sat in the living room with Annie, eating cake, catching up on goss ^.^

Had a looong day, so after they left i got Annie ready for bed, got myself ready for bed, watched abit of 'what women want' & conked out.

Yummy white wine sangria - my new favourite alcoholic drink :) Usually i have red wine sangria which is nasty (i pick out the fruits and only have tiny bits of the drink, give the rest to someone else). But i dont think all places have white sangria ?? Because this was on special tonight..

Dinner tonight @ EL Bulli with Anita Shirls & Ann. We stuffed ourselves with yummy potatoes, bread with aoli, paella, & mussels. My favourite dish of the night was the potatoes, which were deep fried then smothered with the special house dressing i dont know what it was i'll be doing a review on it later though YUM!!!

Popped one of SHirls zantax tonight so i can drink (apparently it stops you from getting asian flush when you drink), it semi worked ! haha i should of taken it before dinner though because i did go abit red.

Ants said she'd be designated driver so we had more drinks @ Starcity. I want a crackberry!! Shirls has one i would be SOOOO addicted to it if i got one.

Met up with Shirls friends in Starcity, got quite drunk me & Ann & Shirls & the boys haha it was so much fun! (Thanks Ants for taking us home after)

Picked up Jeremy on the way out of the city, he was with Jane from 'Freshcakes' & she had two massive cakes for me - she wanted me to do a review on them!!

One lemon poppy seed, & one chocolate. Seriously they were HUGE i got home (still semi drunk) & was taking photo's, and rationing them out to Anita, Jeremy, Ann, William & Rick (he's gone camping all weekend, im not sure if his slices will last the weekend haha)

Finally got to bed (with cake still on my face and fingers) but i was sooooo tired & conked out (after twittering) haha addicted -_-

Rock climbing tonight with Ann, Pete, Rick & Jeremy.

I tried bouldering - which is climbing up semi backwards without a harness (and you fall back onto thick mats). I was scarey falling back but i liked it - its something i want to get better at. There are different colour rocks going up, purple being the easiest then it gets harder by the colours that you follow.

Afterwards we went for kebabs & baclava (way to go for all that fat burning full body work out at rock climbing haha)

Dad got some raw macadamias from a friend's garden - so we were out in the backyard, with hammers trying to crack them open. It's impossible to get the shell separate from the actual nut - i managed to try some raw macadamia - it is sooo nice (even though i only got a tiny little piece to eat)

The way to get them ready to eat properly - is to dry them out for several weeks, then to slowly cook them... basically we need some kind of factory or some sort ?? haha dunno what we'll do with the rest of them!!

Took this on the way home from work. I think cos of daylight savings coming up soon, the time that i come home is when you sun is abit lower then usual. You can't see it well but all the suns rays were shining through the clouds i pulled over next to a footy field to take it - the only spot where there are no houses or buildings in the way.

Rick joined our footy team tonight, we lost by ONE POINT grrr. The other team had these two players who were just TOO fast for any of us and kept getting around us to score. We were tied until 5 seconds before the game !!

Woke up at 5AM this morning, me & Rick went to Bondi to take photo's of the sunrise ^.^

Surprisingly it wasn't too hard to wake up cos i was so excited. We had some baklava on the way up, and i made some honey milk tea and put it in the flask and brought that with us (it was still pretty hot once we got to Bondi)

This is my favourite photo, even though the sun isnt in it.. the rest of the photo's are here.

Next time i want to go further up towards Bronte, so we can capture the sun full coming up from the horizon.

After that we went to Macro in the Junction for breakfast - we were their first customers - and received a free coffee!

Back home after that, i went straight to sleep while Rick went to the gym. I Woke up 2 hours later feeling very refreshed (and happy that i slept back the sleep i missed out from waking up early)

Spent the rest of the day with Annie, took my mom to the shops to buy some groceries & what not.

Went to dinner with Danny & Tash, we ate @ Billu's in Parramatta (food review coming soon!!). Love indian, but we ALWAYS order too much whenever we go, even though we ordered ONE dosa, it was HUMONGOUS (and great value for money it was only $11) and it was delicious with the rose lassi (a yogurt based drink)

Hosted a breakfast at my place this morning invited Rick, Ants & Jeremy Over :) Had a great time cooking eating & catching up, i'd love to do this on a regular basis! On the menu was:

Bacon

Juices (thanx to Jeremy)

I cleared out the table out back, and put down my mum's picnic mat from the 70's, it was a lovely morning !!

After Ants & Jeremy left me & Rick got ready to go to Julie's place, and got ready to head up to the city for a light lunch @ Benbu (review coming soon, pics here)

What was meant to be a light lunch ended up being a big lunch because the food was SO NICE!! This little take away place, with only a few tables, served the best sushi rolls, and gen mai cha tea :)

After lunch, headed over to Centennial park with our bikes, did about 4 laps (3.8km each lap), then sat down and had some chippies by the water. Centennial Park is beautiful i want to come back and do sum running, & rollerblading :)

Friday - finally :)

Was extra happy to leave work today i'm not sure why i guess cos i was looking forward to the weekend so much, got a few things planned :)

After having a small dinner at home with my family, i looked outside and saw some grogeous colors in the sky. Grabbed my camera, tripod, and filters and sped off around the area to find a nice spot to shoot. Ended up in Cecil hills, where i couldnt see the sun set - but nonetheless the photo turned out nice

Went to meet Sam & Julie for dinner around 9.30pm (Julie finished work late). We tried out the new pizza place near my house, CRUST.

Ordered 3 pizza's between the four of us (food review coming soon). It was really nice, i'd definitely go back and try the other 'gourmet' pizza's bascially its a new chain of pizza take away bars, which serve gourmet pizzas only.

So Annie's bed has moved out - to create more space for her to be wheeled in, and room to walk around etc. We're slowly (day by day) going through her things, books, papers etc and throwing things out.

Touch footy sucked tonight we lost 4-7 !! We didnt have many subs while the other team had plenty, we were tied at 4 all at one point, but then they just got around us so easily it was their advantage since we were all tired with not much subs and they had people coming on & off constantly.

Hard game meant rewarding dinner @ Harry's Pies @ Orange Grove yummy :)

Had high Tea with the LJ girls today, it was great to see you all again, i always look forward to our catch ups :)

I think this will be my last high tea for a while, this was my 4th time over 2 mths!!

After high tea we browsed a few shops, got some cupcakes (for Tash) and we all went our seperate ways - another catch up in 2 wks time before Lis is off to the states

I headed back out west, to see Danny & Tash (it was Tash's Bday lunch but i couldnt make it) so i came past with cupcakes, music mix cd, and a home made bday card (i rarely buy cards anymore i like to make my own with whatever i've got at home)

We stayed till about 9 just catching up, playing with their DOg Freyr & cats Jasper & ?? forgot the name.. hehe

Annie's last day at the hospital, we spent the last few days taking things home bit by bit (alot of stuff built up over the 8-9 mths its ridiculous my dad is such a hoarder haha)

Left - RIght: Eric, Eric's Mum, Alana, Alana's Mum, Annie & Dad

Eric came in at about half way through Annie's stay, & Since both my dad & his mum spoke the same language, they became friends, and since Eric & Annie spoke and saw each other almost every day.

Alana was in the bed opposite Annie, at around the same time that Annie was admitted into Westmead. Alana was hit by a car at a pedestrian crossing out the front of her school, and was in a coma for about 2 mths before awakening, not very responsive to everyone (family/doctors) was was partially disabled in a sense that she wasnt able to do anything - her body didnt respond to her brain.

It happened slowly, but her senses came back to her, she started to get her memory back, and as you can see here - shes almost 100% recovered - such a miracle, after what she had been through.

The nurses threw a 'surprise' party for Annie, of which my dad told her about (duh, keyword=surprise!), they had cake & lollies & chips, a few photos were taken before battery died (nice one me!!)

Once Annie was home, it was kind of like a sigh of relief - not that the hospital wasnt a great place - its just travel time from our house was abit of a drive...

Spent the whole day at home as a family, had lunch & dinner together, just like old times :)

I am so so happy that Annie is finally home !!

I was up at 5.30AM this morning, Had a flex class at 6.00Am!!

Was told not to lift heavy weights if we had just gotten out of bed one hour prior to the class (me puts my hand up - yes thats me) so i was forced to do 7.5KG squats, and everything else normal (your spine is not ready for heavy weights just after waking up in the morning)

Note to self : come earlier next week to do half an hour cardio before the class

I love coming into the gym while its still dark, and walking out to be greeted by the sun. Today the sky had beautiful patterns, & luckily i had my digital camera with me :)

TOuch footy tonight - HECTIC game. Non stop sprinting - every single player on the other team was FAST like lightening. They were new though, and didnt full know the rules of the game so this worked towards our advantage, and at the start i was happy to get a tie with them but we managed to win by one point ~ 9-8 ~ GO MOES TAVERN WOOT WOOT!! Tonights game was the hardest this season, we are up by 4 wins, lost only once.

My finger went in someones mouth in the game - Ew. I Also rammed with an opponent, and got smacked in the face with the ball.

Met up with Sam & Julz for dinner & Catch up, cheap (worked out to be $10 each) and local Canley Heights Pho Hien (food review? MAybe..)

Food was average nothing to rave about i had sugarcane prawn sticks with vermicelli, Rick had springrolls with vermicelli, Sam & Julz shared spring rolls & sweet & sour pork with rice (mmm, sweet & sour)

I know a place out near my house in Green valley that do a mean sweet & sour fish - must - go- back.. this weekend ?? Yay hehe

WOke up early & made breakfast, Betty's famous tuna melt squares! Annie & my mom love these, so quickly made that, & got ready to drive to the station & train it into the city to meet Wensy for high tea & shopping :)

High tea @ the tea room in QVB, this place is the real high tea deal, its fairly quiet, you can hear one another talking, very spacious (the victoria room in darlinghurst is very squashy, little space between tables, & very very loud and noisy).

We tried a russian tea which smelt like weed and tobacco (we should have guessed this from the 'russian' in the name), & also had english breakfast tea (my favourite).

Off to Pitt Street Mall & Myers afterwards for some inflationary shopping ! (haha ants =P)

I managed to find a pair of gladiator shoes from ZU for $50! Bargain! Very lucky that i put down the $140 pair from WANTED. Got some stationary from kikki-k <3,>

Went for a bike ride this morning with Rick :) Bike riding, is so relaxing, & fun, and a great work out !!

We rode around the area for 2 hours, found our way to a garage sale where i picked up two vintage purse bags for $20! One is gold the other is black, very retro & cool.

Spent the rest of the day at my uncles house with the whole family (inc Annie!), we ate bbq food (i stuck to the salads), played wii, mucked around in the park, Me & Rick stayed for dinner (left over BBq food) & then made pancakes!

I really want a wii, and also wii FIT - its an awesome game i actually broke out a sweat three times haha - its cheaper then a gym membership!!

Its tricky cooking with minors they are very messy, tend to lean in close to the hot pan while i'm trying to cook, have no sense of measurements (Beatrice put in a huge blob of butter into the pan prior to cooking - no good). But after a few false starts & attempts, we finally got it going, and ended up happy pancake eaters :) & Richard made 'scrambled pancake'

This week was hectic at work - we had a warehouse stock take. Physical checking & counting of stock. We have Over 1500 reels of wire in our stock!!

So glad its Friday :):)

Went for a 50 minute jog with my hunni on the bus way in my area. (i had also woken up early today to jog around the block 15 minutes)

Had an early night, Well, early for Rick, i'm still up at 11.45pM!! We're going for a bike ride tomorrow morning yay!

Rick got me some cupcakes while in the city visiting clients today :) They are from "baby reneee's", and they are the tiniest cupcakes, so moist, delicate, with correct proportion topping to cake!

We went rock climbing tonight, just with Pete. We ordered our new harnesses (and also tried them on my GOSH they are so comfy!!)

Attempted quite a few climbs today, my arms will be sore tomorrow! Made friends with these two girls who are weekly climbers, Tina & .. ??? Forgot now! But we saw them when we were here two weeks ago. We're deciding on not to buy shoes, the hire is just $4, and the harnesses sooooo comfy, compared to the standard rent out ones. It should be available in a few days, cant wait !!

Bought some multi grain Tortilla's this week (Trangs food idea). 6 slices in a pack so i had:

2 pieces with Tuna, avocado, Lettuce

2 pieces with TUna & lettuce

and these two pieces, banana & peanut butter, then whacked into the microwave (nothing beats melted peanut butter, i'd have it no other way!!) & there goes the last of my jar of crunchy peanut butter.

Touch footy tonight was a late game 8pm. We tied! It was a mega hard game, but atleast we had Subs this time!! I was feeling abit crook, so took Ann & Rick's advice, went home afterwards (instead of gymming). Had a quick shower, jumped into my cosey bed, and finished off the rest of 'Candy'.

I love the feeling of when you're in bed at night, reading to wind down, geting sleepy, eyes falling shut. Stumbling to find my bookmark (which disappeared somewhere between my blankets..), reaching over to turn off the light, and ZZzZzZzzz...

Cooked hunni a simple, filling & nutritious breakfast consisting of Mushrooms sauted in worstershire sauce, two eggs sunny side up, grilled tomatos, & toast :)

Had my uncles family over, had lunch together (fresh rice paper rolls with stir fried onions, fresh prawns, & salads)

Headed out for some tennis with Sam & Julz, met up at a free court at Canley (which were all taken) so wen went for two rounds of AMF bowling instead. I won first round, Rick won second, havent bowled in ages so it was fun! I found the trick for me is - use a heavy ball, that way it doesnt go in the gutter so easily!!

Had dinner @ Rashays afterwards. Canneloni & seafood platter, yummy yummy :D I want to make some canneloni!! Last time we attempted, we didnt use enough sauce, so bits of the top were.. crunchy undercooked pasta haha (but dont get me wrong, it was still yummilicious!)

Annie's bed, and hoist equipment got delivered to our house today. She will be sleeping at home this Saturday night! & Returning on Sunday evening. They are practising her, so that she will be able to sleep at home for good in 3 weeks time (not forever, but for atleast 2-3 mths)

The hoist thing, is used for the net that goes under neath Annie, and there are clippy things, and the hoist thing will lift her up and onto her wheel chair, and back on to her bed from the wheel chair (instead of me, dad & mum doing it manually with our hands)

I'm not good at explaining haha.. the thing, then the thing.. lol. I'll take photos next time, so you all know what i'm talking about !!

I'm very excited to have Annie come home, for my dad to be home again, for everyone to be home again because its been such a long time

Me & My non-alcoholic bier ^.^

We were invited to a last minute-organised secret meet up for food bloggers in Syd Tonight, @ LowenBrau at the Rocks. THere was only one vegetarian meal on the menu so i was stuck with this cheesy macaroni stuf LOL that i couldnt finish it was just.. too cheesy!!

It was fun to talk to other food bloggers, and to take pictures !! Haha it was sooo funny. As soon as our food came out, everyone just got up out of their chairs to walk around and snap snap up fotos of eachothers food - but Rick ? Was so hungry he started eating haha while we were all flashing and snapping away

One of the bloggers said 'it feels so good to be able to take photos, without feeling embarrassed' - - - i'm NEVER embarassed to take photos of my food!!!

We ended the night with a sweet treat @ Guylian Cafe - this was not all it was hyped up to be i LOVE lindt cafe so much more (although i like the fact that Guylian let us take photos!!)

Three of us got together for some tennis tonight (wade couldnt make it, his car broke down..!! such bad luck!!) Well he missed out big time i worked up such a sweat tonight

After playing some singles, Pete wanted to verse me & Rick, he won! (hence the one finger, number one, hahaha)

A vegie burger from down the road. i hardly ever order lunch, but today - i just didnt feel like eating what my mom packed me (yes, my mom packs my lunch sometimes haha) it was some vegetarian thing she got from the shop that didnt smell nice.. ew

this burger though, was so so nice ..!! (and so many calories i feel so bad)

After talking about peanut butter on toast yesterday i decided to have it for beakfast today :) And its true - the peanut butter melts! haha but i think i need to put the settings down on my toaster - the toast was abit too dry.

9 of us chicky babes got together this afternoon for High Tea @ The Victoria Room. We were lucky to get a secluded corner away from the hustle bustle & chit chatter from the rest of the people in the room, where we could actually hear our conversations, and had our own privacy!!

The food was not as nice as the Tea Room @ QVB, and the service wasnt that great (we had a dipsy waitress take half our teas away when we werent even done yet). There wasnt much variety, but our waiter was cute, we all got along well & we enjoyed our lazy Sunday afternoon sipping tea :)

I had specified vegetarian platter for myself and was impressed when they came out with it for me first before serving anything else! Also we were one girl short but they didnt charge us for this (on the booking form, any cancellations made within 24 hrs would be charged)

Alicia & Cheeky headed home after so the rest of us went to the Gazebo bar for drinks & chatter. Again, we were lucky enough to score a nice corner, with lots of room, on a retro cool red couch!

Oh, i saw this guy washing his hair in the fountain. & another guy skipping rope next to the fountain, and sipping his 'mother' energy drink

haha :D

Had an AWESOME afternoon with you gals, and looking forward to our girls night out in April !!!!
